Desperate times call for desperate measures, and since we can't gather at The Bakehouse as we usually do, we thought we'd bring the Bakehouse to you, virtually!
In this class, Joy the Baker will instruct viewers on how to make three types of biscuits: sweet, savory and drop biscuits. Tune in as we go live from The Bakehouse in New Orleans for an online cooking class.
You'll need:
All-purpose flour
Granulated sugar
Baking powder
Baking soda
Kosher salt
Unsalted butter
Large Egg
Buttermilk or some milk product and a splash of vinegar
Optional:
Fresh herbs and chives
Fresh blueberries
Your favorite jam
Chocolate chunks
Grated cheddar cheese
Paprika
Black pepper
